What you can expect

Florida mold remediation isn't just "clean it with bleach." Bleach doesn't kill mold inside porous materials like drywall — it just bleaches the surface. Real remediation removes the contamination at the source and verifies it's gone.

Insurance & documentation

We document everything: pre-work photos, moisture readings, lab results, scope of work, and itemized invoices that align with insurance line-items. We can speak directly with your adjuster and provide all paperwork they need.

Most Florida policies cover mold caused by a "sudden and accidental" event — burst pipes, AC overflow, storm damage. Long-term humidity issues are typically excluded. We help you document the cause clearly.

Safety during the job

We run 4 ACH (air changes per hour) HEPA filtration in the work area, isolate it under negative pressure so spores can't drift, and use OSHA-grade PPE on every tech. The rest of your home stays clean.

What happens after

An independent third party (not us) takes post-remediation air samples. We don't get paid the final installment until those samples come back below indoor reference levels. That's the standard you should demand from any remediator.

FAQ

Common questions about Florida mold

We isolate the affected area with plastic containment, run negative-pressure HEPA air scrubbers, remove the contaminated materials, HEPA-vacuum and clean adjacent surfaces, dry the area thoroughly, then independently test to confirm it's clear.

Most residential jobs take 1-3 days of active work plus 1-2 days for drying and clearance testing. Larger jobs (whole-home or commercial) can take a week.

For small jobs (under 100 sq ft) usually not — we just isolate the work area. For larger jobs we recommend kids and pets stay elsewhere during active removal, especially anyone with asthma or allergies.

Yes. We provide claim-ready documentation: photos, lab reports, scope of work, and itemized invoices that align with insurance line-items. We can also speak directly with your adjuster.
